We strongly recommend that you use environmentally friendly means of transportation. 

If you arrive by train, you will get directly to the town of Postojna. Postojna is located on the Vienna-Venice railroad line with connections to Zagreb, Salzburg, Rijeka and Koper. You can see the timetable here. 

There is a bus station in Postojna that offers good intercity connections. There are hourly city buses from Ljubljana to Postojna. Check the timetables here. 

By car you can reach Postojna via the A1 motorway – exit Postojna motorway No. 41. Car sharing is advised. 

Slovenia has only one international airport, Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport (Brnik), which is 75 km from Postojna.
