With cooperation of Slovenian company C-ASTRAL Ltd. researchers of the Slovenian Forestry Institute used a small unmanned airplane to estimate damages in forests after devastating sleet.
With the airborne photography the researchers involved want to minimise the uncertainties in damage estimations as well as another important fact - costs.
The thest area of ~250 hectares was near to Postojna.
